Application:
High quality chopped strand mat (CSM) for polyester and vinyl ester resins. Also suitable for epoxy resins, although a slightly reduced drape ability occurs.

Uniform fibre distribution, fast impregnation, good transparency, increased resin consumption compared to glass fabric.
For boats, reservoirs, receptacles and automotive parts.

Art projects can also be realised very well with this material. We then recommend to use our highly transparent Epoxy Resin HT 2 + Hardener HT 2 (order no. 105100-X).

With 15 tex yarns for minimizing the print-through of heavier mats and air bubble-free surface layers and coatings.

Possible fibre volume fraction for hand lay-ups from 10 to 20 %.
