Vacuum infusion
In the injection process, the dry reinforcing material is first placed in the mould. The impregnation with resin takes place only after the mould has been closed by sucking the matrix (resin) into the mould by means of a vacuum.

Vacuum bagging
In vacuum bagging, the previously hand-laminated component is pushed with the mould into a film bag (only possible for small parts) or covered with a film that is stuck airtight to the edge of the mould. By sucking off the air, the film presses onto the laminate and presses it against the mould.
