VOSS UP laminating resin VC AZUR Super plus is a pre-accelerated, unsaturated polyester resin for cold curing with greatly reduced styrene vapor release (milieu resin).

  • Low-viscosity, thixotropic orthophthalic acid resin for medium loads
  • Contains additives to reduce styrene evaporation and control the addition of hardener
  • Limited reaction temperature during curing (peak brake), so thicker laminates can also be cured
  • Improved curing behavior at low temperatures
  • The resin becomes clear-transparent after half the processing time

Processing:
The resin is cured with 1 to 3 % MEKP hardener (see technical data sheet)
The addition of hardener is checked by a color indicator, which changes from blue to green within a few minutes after the addition of MEKP.

Potlife at 20° C with 1 % MEKP (100 g Mix): approx. 40 minutes

Application:
The resin can be used in wet layers up to 7 mm thick.

It is suitable for:
With glass fiber reinforcement excellent for the hand lay-up and fiber spraying process for e.g. elements for construction, boat building, vehicle construction, pool coatings, covers for machine parts, furniture production.

Provided with fillers as: Casting resin, e.g. for casting electrical circuits, polyester concrete, casting compounds for artistic work, for coatings and molded parts.
