The cutting mat is designed so that fine threads do not stick, thus the fabric does not fray out so easily.
Especially suitable for roller cutters, the circular knives remain sharp longer when cutting on this mat. The cut that is created on the surface closes again by itself. For the use of other knives (cutters) only conditionally suitable, because the wear of the cutting base is higher.
The service life of the cutting mat is shorter if the blade is subjected to corresponding pressure. The cutting mat is not suitable for cutting thick materials such as Kevlar, as so much pressure must be applied that the roller blade enters too deeply into the cutting pad.

Application:
To achieve optimum results, it is necessary that the cutting mat is spread out on a smooth, clean and hard surface. Dust, fibre residues, and other contaminants should be removed prior to use with the included lint-free and tear-resistant cloth.
