Silicone rubber ADDV-10-EC CRYSTAL CLEAR (set of two components)
ADDV-10 Crystal Clear is a crystal-clear, completely transparent, pourable 2-component silicone.

Application:
- Waterproof and impact-resistant encapsulation of electronic components, such as LEDs, electronic LCD displays, circuit boards, and similar components.
- Vibration-resistant mounting of mechanical components made of metal, wood, plastic, and other internal materials.
Due to its low tensile strength, it is not suitable for manufacturing components subject to stress. Therefore, it is generally not suitable for mold making.
Verarbeitung:
Mixing ratio: 1 : 1 parts by weight of component A : component B.
Processing time (at 25 °C): 30-60 minutes
Curing time (at 25 °C): 4-6 h
It can cure at room temperature as well as at higher temperatures (the curing time can be accelerated by higher temperatures, preliminary tests are required).
Please note:
- Cannot be processed with our Universal Colour Pastes.
- The air stirred in during mixing can be removed by vacuuming in a desiccator. This makes the silicone maximally free of air bubbles.
- With all equipment and tools used, care should be taken that no other materials such as epoxy resins or condensation-curing silicones have been processed with them beforehand.
- Addition-curing silicones react to impurities with curing disorders, which can result in increased brittleness or stickiness. This also applies to any other substances that are added, such as organic-based paints. In extreme cases, the mixture will not cure.

As both component batches match each other, we only supply complete batches. It is not possible to obtain individual deliveries of silicone and catalyst.
Packages with 0.5, 1 and 2 kg in a squeeze bottle, 10 and 20 kg in PE canisters.
