OKE Carbon fibre plates are made out of HT carbon fibre prepregs with a transparent epoxy resin matrix in press moulding. They are high-strength and visually and technically perfect.
Processing:
Carbon fiber sheets can be machined, i.e. milled, sawn, drilled and water jet cut. Bonding with epoxy resins, MMA adhesives, cyanoacrylates (instant adhesives).
Before being used outdoors, the Carbon fibre plates must be coated with a UV varnish, as they turn slightly yellow when exposed to sunlight.
Construction:
1 top ply on both sides made of 3-K carbon prepreg 200 g/m², weave twill, and the corresponding number of core plies made of carbon unidirectional prepreg 0 °/90 °.
