Roll wrapped carbon fibre tubes with a smooth surface finish of 3k plain weave fabric, clear-coated glossy. Subjacent layers from unidirectional non-crimp fabric. High-quality epoxy resin matrix.

For technical reasons, a very thin, fine glass fabric is incorporated as a carrier material for the carbon fiber during production. This makes it unsuitable for applications such as CT scans.

Fibre orientation:

  • Surface: 0°/90°
  • Core: 0°

Characteristics:
Lightweight, excellent corrosion and heat resistance and electrical conductivity. Very good flexural and hoop stiffness.

After laminating, the wound CFK round tubes are ground (round) to size and then coated.

Tolerances:
Deviation in diameter ± 0.1 mm. As a rule, the deviation from the straightness is not more than 1 mm/m.
